1. Who we are
Evorlume Labs is the name under which this website and its related development work are operated. Evorlume Labs is not currently an incorporated company, so this policy does not reference a registered company number or registered office. If that changes, this page will be updated. You can reach us at any time at admin@evorlumelabs.com.
2. The short version
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to type into the contact form, and it is sent to us as an email. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for anything other than replying to you.
3. Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your work email address, your message, and - if you choose to provide them - your company name and the type of project you are interested in. The message field is limited to 500 characters. We ask you to confirm you agree to this policy before the form can be sent. You do not have to use the form: you can email us directly at admin@evorlumelabs.com instead.
4. Why we use it, and on what basis
We use this information solely to read and respond to your enquiry and to continue that conversation if you want us to. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling. The basis for handling it is your own request that we get in touch - you decide what to tell us, and you can ask us to delete it afterwards.
5. How your enquiry reaches us
Submitting the form sends your message to our own mail server over an authenticated, encrypted (TLS) connection, and it arrives as an ordinary email in the admin@evorlumelabs.com mailbox. Nothing you submit is written to a database - this website does not have one. Your email address is used as the reply-to address so we can respond to you directly.
6. Anti-spam checks
To stop automated abuse of the form, our server briefly notes that a submission came from your network connection so it can limit how many messages arrive in a short period. Your IP address is not stored in readable form: it is converted into an irreversible fingerprint, held in a temporary file alongside nothing but timestamps, and discarded automatically. The form also includes a hidden field that people never see and a check on how quickly it was completed; neither collects any information about you.
7. How long we keep it
Your enquiry stays in our email mailbox for as long as it is useful for the conversation and any resulting work, in the same way as any other business correspondence. If you would like us to delete an earlier enquiry, email admin@evorlumelabs.com and we will remove it from the mailbox.
8. Who else is involved
Our website hosting and email provider stores and delivers the messages sent through the form, and, like any web host, keeps standard server logs of requests made to the site. Beyond that, no third party receives information collected through this website. We do not use analytics providers, advertising networks or social media tracking, and the fonts used on this site are served from our own domain rather than fetched from an external service.
9. Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no cookies. It does not use local storage, session storage or any similar technique to store information in your browser, and there is nothing here for you to accept or opt out of. If that ever changes, this page and our Cookie Policy will be updated before the change goes live.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Messages are validated on our server before they are processed, and access to the mailbox that receives them is restricted and password-protected. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information - such as financial, health or identity documents - through the contact form.
11. Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop using it, and withdraw your agreement at any time - the simplest way is to reply to our email or write to admin@evorlumelabs.com. We will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
12. Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles information - for example by adding analytics, a live chat assistant or an anti-spam service - we will update this page before the change goes live and revise the date shown below. This page describes how the website works; it is not legal advice.
